In the winter of 2010, Natalie and Jordan met at every UMD student athlete's favorite filling station- RJ Bentley's. Instead of stumbling home from the bar with their friends, they spent hours playing many games of tic-tac-toe. There is nothing like playing the most basic game in America to bring two people together. After several months of close friendship, Jordan went over to Natalie's apartment when she was having a bad day. To cheer her up, he asked her to play another competitive game of tic-tac-toe but this time the game would have higher stakes. Natalie didn't know what she was betting on but accepted the challenge. When Jordan won, he cashed in on his win by asking Natalie for a kiss and the rest is history.
