Thank you for coming to our wedding page, we are so delighted to have you joining us on this journey! We met for the first time in Fredericksburg. Daniel drove over two hours to come see me. We had talked a lot on the phone over the course of a few days and he was daring enough to meet me on October 17th, 2018. Spending time with him was great, we were so nervous at first and it took us both time to feel more comfortable. I knew right away he was a really special person! I did my best to give him a tour of some of the shops in downtown Fredericksburg but most of the time we were walking I was feeling really shy. Both of us decided to grab some hot chocolate at the local coffee shop. Sitting down and chatting was what really helped us to feel more at ease. After spending some time sharing more about our lives the connection we had in our conversations on the phone began to spark more in person. Daniel generously offered to take us for some unagi (eel) sushi at one of the best sushi spots in the area. When we got there it felt very romantic and by the end of our date, Daniel and I had decided to continue getting to know each other. It was really wonderful! He was such a gentleman and spending time with him really was so sweet. The next day, Daniel drove all the way from Maryland to meet me after work and bring me some of our favorite dessert from Tous Les Jour. Daniel coming to see me was even sweeter than our dessert (chocolate mousse cake, if you were wondering, hehe.) How thoughtful and kind he is. Truly after spending time with Daniel the first day I knew our relationship was special and I began praying if he was “the one” God wanted me to marry. When we talked on the phone I already sensed that meeting him was a blessing, but as we continued to grow closer to one another God gave us peace that we were meant to be together. It was very wonderful.
