They became friends quickly and share a keen liking for planning events, hosting dinners, baking, and spending time with mutual friends from Warren Baptist Church.
Andrew Marvel

Hunter met Andrew in 2019 at a mutual friend’s birthday party. They quickly hit it off. Andrew has been like a big brother to Hunter. He is one of the godliest men Hunter has had the privilege of knowing. Their adventures have taken them to places like Cedar Point to ride the fastest rollercoasters in the country and to the Great Smokey Mountains. If Hunter ever needs advice, Andrew is typically the first person Hunter calls. When you put them together, you’d never know that there is a ten year age gap between them.
Annalise Bond

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - Psalm 73:26 Annalise and Taylor met their freshman year of college and lived in the same dorm suite. They became roommates their sophomore year, "floormates" their junior year, and "housemates" their senior year. A member of the Bippity Boppity Blue house, Annalise is known for being intentional in decision making and a lover of sloths. Taylor admires Annalise's ability to make others feel welcome as well as her peaceful and calm demeanor.
Nathan Tatera

Some might think that Hunter and Nathan sound like an old married couple by the way they talk to each other, but they really do love each other. Nathan, in his role as a Religious Program Specialist in the Navy, provided the last signature Hunter needed to separate from the Navy in late 2021. A few weeks later, by divine providence, Nathan joined the Bible study Hunter and Jonathan led. Their friendship has taken them to places like Cape Canaveral for two failed rocket launch attempts as well as to Brooklyn, New York on a mission trip with Warren Baptist. In July 2023, Hunter finally persuaded Nathan to move into his home, and they were roommates until Hunter moved to Omaha in October.

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. - Titus 3:3-7 Kara and Taylor met prior to their freshman year at Baylor in the summer of 2018. Since then, they have been great friends and share common interests like hiking, watching Baylor sports, and camping. Taylor appreciates Kara's heart for others and hardworking spirit. They spent 5 weeks in Europe together in 2023, visiting 7 countries, conversing for hours, and being flexible with frequently changing plans. A favorite memory was seeing the destination of Lago di Sorapis in the distance of the Italian Dolomites after treacherously hiking and scrambling for multiple hours. Kara is a member of the Bippity Boppity Blue house, the senior year house in college that will be remembered forever.

Cameron, or “Gator” as he is known by Hunter, is the best thing that has come out of the state of New York. It is not uncommon to hear Hunter and Cameron conversing in holler, hillbilly, Southern drawl for no reason at all besides their own amusement. They have the best time together, and they are the life of the party when in the same room. Hunter appreciates Cameron’s selflessness and genuine heart for service. He is humble, turning attention from his accomplishments and abilities to the glory of God. Cameron was nearly always the last to leave bonfires at Hunter’s house.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Psalm 37:4 Abigail and Taylor met in Augusta on Hunter's couch at Thursday night Bible study in 2022. They immediately connected due to their shared experiences with foster care and adoption. Taylor admires Abigail's knowledge of Scripture, loyalty to her friends and family, and intentionality in every conversation.
Jonathan McNeal

Jonathan and Hunter became friends in the summer of 2020. Jonathan moved back to Augusta in August 2021 after finishing a ministry internship in Atlanta. They began leading a Bible study of young professionals every Thursday, and continued to do so until the group multiplied into two groups in the summer of 2022. Hunter considers Jonathan a brother. Their shared passion for coffee and coffee shops inclines them to open a coffee shop together one day. One of Jonathan’s hobbies is collecting old books, and he will journey far and wide to estate sales and auctions to find them.

Taylor admires Catherine's eager willingness to follow the call of the Lord, her spontaneity, and her ability to connect with those who are different than herself. Catherine joined Taylor, Kara, and Caelan in Italy and Austria in June 2023. Several highlights were seeing the Vienna State Opera and hiking in the Italian Dolomites. Catherine is a Bippity Boppity Blue gal, and she must be recognized for coming up with the house name.
Austin Anderson

Hunter and Austin met in 2019 through Warren Baptist’s Young Professionals ministry. They became friends quickly. Similar to Andrew Marvel, Hunter admires Austin’s dedicated pursuit toward Christ. They have partnered together in high school ministry. Austin, Andrew M, and Hunter faithfully met together at Waffle House every Friday for three years, calling one another to be godly men. It has been a gift to witness Austin fall in love with his now wife, Rachel, and welcome a baby girl into the world in February 2023.

They both enjoy going for walks outside, trying new recipes, and having spontaneous fun amidst a busy academic schedule. Caelan spurred Taylor's growing enjoyment of reading classic literature, and Taylor admires Caelan's curiosity and passion for learning. Caelan traveled with Taylor, Kara, and Catherine in Europe in the summer of 2023 and is a fellow member of Bippity Boppity Blue.
Dan Bush

Hunter and Dan met in December 2021 through the Young Professionals ministry at Warren, and they quickly bonded over their love of history and guns as well as their shared faith. Hunter admires Dan’s selflessness and dedication in serving the church. Dan, Nathan, and Hunter began leading the newly multiplied Thursday night Bible study in June 2022. Dan also joined Nathan and Hunter on both trips to Cape Canaveral, Florida. Hunter’s house became a true bachelor pad in August 2023 when Dan moved in and joined Hunter and Nathan. Hunter is looking forward to being a groomsman in Dan’s wedding in April 2024.

Over the years, they have led a Bible study together, competed in a pie making contest, and discussed which couples would stay together after leaving the beach in Bachelor in Paradise. Taylor admires Maria's humility and honesty as well as her ability to make a mean caesar chicken. Maria lived in Bippity Boppity Blue, a highlight of college.

Andrew and Hunter became friends near the end of 2021 when Warren Baptist Church adopted First Baptist Belvedere, and both decided to attend and serve there. Andrew’s heart for service is convicting and inspiring to Hunter. They have gone on multiple mission trips together, serving the people of Park Slope in Brooklyn, NY. Hunter is proud of the fact that he was instrumental in Andrew and Luiza’s (one of Hunter’s first friends in Augusta) love story. “Uncle Hunter” is looking forward to welcoming baby Crosby into the world in 2024.

These things are excellent and profitable for people. - Titus 3:4-8 Debbie and Taylor met on June 13, 2022, their first day working at Christ Community Health in Augusta as medical scribes. They quickly became friends and had the privilege of working of mere feet from each other, having dozens of lunchtime conversations, and eating Debbie's mouthwatering arepas. Taylor loves Debbie's storytelling as well as her genuine kindness and passion for serving the underprivileged.

Hunter considers Lorenzo a close brother. You can find them periodically sitting at Surcheros for 2+ hours over lunch talking about the most important life topics, ranging from relationship advice to deep spiritual matters. Hunter has considered it a joy to witness Lorenzo obediently answer the Lord’s calling toward full time ministry. They served together at Warren Baptist, both in the high school ministry and at the Belvedere campus. Hunter is undoubtedly blessed to have Lorenzo as such a solid friend.
Haley Newton

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6 Haley and Taylor met at Thursday night Bible study in 2022. They ran a team marathon together in November 2022 and were able to have lunch dates most Tuesdays when Taylor lived in Augusta. Haley is genuine, perseverant, a great biscuit maker, and an even better friend.
Logan Burbank

Logan is one of Taylor’s younger brothers. Hunter and Logan have bonded over their shared love and knowledge of all things airplanes, helicopters, and air shows. Logan talks at 200 miles per hour when conversing with Hunter about such things. He is looking forward to traveling to Georgia for the first time for the wedding. Hunter is thoughtful and patient while interacting with Logan’s special needs, and it warms Taylor’s heart to witness their relationship develop.

Micah is the life of the party and one of the biggest supporters of Taylor and Hunter. Her enthusiasm is unmatched, and her interest in knowing how people are really doing is apparent. Micah has welcomed Taylor into the Boutwell family with open arms!
Nathaniel Burbank

Nathaniel is Taylor’s youngest brother. After completing his freshman year of college at Baylor University, he switched his major and transferred to The Ohio State University where he is studying criminal justice with current interests in law enforcement and the judicial system. Nathaniel is a total people person and can strike up a conversation with anyone he encounters. He serves on the audio visual team at church in California when on breaks, works as a lifeguard at the Monterey Sports Center, and plays competitive water polo.
