Once upon a time...

The bride and groom met on a dating app in 2022 and went for a slice of pizza for their first date. After talking until midnight, the two left the date thinking they knew what the other was looking for. Sydnie had understood that Hunter wanted friends after his college buddies moved away. Meanwhile, Hunter drove home thinking, "How do I ask her out on another date?" So while Sydnie continued asking him to hang out (as friends, of course!) Hunter was getting pumped for all the "dates" being planned and falling head over heels. Eventually in an Applebee's on Valentine's Day, Sydnie admitted her feelings to Hunter and explained that she could no longer continue to JUST be friends. To which Hunter replied, "Uh...I thought we were dating this whole time?" And they've been in love ever since. Oops.
