The story starts in January of 2022 as Hunter was returning to college for her spring semester and Simon was in his first year at Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Hunter saw Simon’s profile on a dating app and attempted to match with him. It would be a few more days until they started speaking. On January 10th, the two went a coffee date and only two days later, they would make it official. They dated for a year and a few months before Simon asked Hunter’s dad to marry her. They were engaged in March and had a small courthouse wedding in May. Now, they are holding a ceremony so all family and friends can be a part of their big day again!
