FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP at least 6 weeks before the wedding! Date: 4/11/2026

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Click on the "Registry" tab to find our Zola registry! Everything is linked to purchase from Amazon for convenience! Our Honeymoon Fund can be found under the same tab and is done through Venmo!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire please!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your kids, we’re keeping our wedding an adults-only event so everyone can relax and celebrate. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To allow us to celebrate with our closest loved ones, we kindly request that only those listed on the envelope attend (or those listed when you RSVP). We appreciate your understanding as we keep our celebration intimate. We want to be surrounded by all the people that we know and love on our special day!

Question

What time should I arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30pm, please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before it starts to find your seats!

Question

What time should I arrive for the Cocktail Hour if I'm not attending the Ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive for the cocktail hour as close to 5:00pm as possible! This ensures that there is no overlap between the two events!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Under the "Travel" tab, we have listed our hotel block and 5 of the best-rated hotels in the area that the venue recommends. The DoubleTree Hotel is the hotel that we have a block at and is the closest to the venue. There are also plenty of other hotels and Airbnbs/VRBOs in the surrounding area! It is Memorial Day weekend, so book ASAP!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is a shuttle to and from the DoubleTree Hotel, which is the closest hotel to the venue! If staying at a different hotel, we cannot guarantee that their shuttle service is available to provide transportation all the way to the venue! Ubers are also an option in Cedar Rapids!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot outside the venue that is first-come, first-served, but street parking is available in the streets nearby and is FREE on the weekends! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rYcCxbW22rmIJcDDVGBZ4wuJD73QjUka69k6e3PZ9bY/edit?usp=sharing
