A favorite spot of ours (and where we got engaged)! The perfect spot to spend time outside and explore the unique desert landscape that Arizona has to offer. Be sure to stop by Gertude's restaurant for a margarita (we highly recommend the Garden 'Rita). Tickets are needed but you can buy them in advance online at their website linked below.
A Smithsonian-affiliated museum located right here in the Valley (and one of Hunter's favorites)! Be sure to plan your trip in advance and buy tickets online via the link below.
See Phoenix from a bird's-eye view by hiking Camelback Mountain! Choose between two trailheads (our favorite is Echo Canyon) and ascend 1,420 feet to a summit resembling the hump of a camel's back, with 360-degree views of the city.
Book your visit in advance and get tickets online below.
Named Rohoen (鷺鳳園), the Japanese Friendship Garden is a joint project of the City of Phoenix and our Sister City Himeji, Japan. This 3.5 acre garden features more than 1,500 tons of hand-picked rock, stone foot bridges, lanterns and more than 85 varieties of plants. As you stroll the path, you will enjoy flowing streams, a 14-foot waterfall, and a koi pond with over 300 colorful Koi fish. Tickets are required for entry and can be purchased via the website below.
Play a round of night golf from sunset to 12am!
Grab a burger and a martini at AZ88! A contemporary restaurant and bar located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale! Known for their martinis (with over 15 on the menu) and a favorite date-spot of ours. Can you guess our favorite drink?! Please note they do not take reservations.
We recommend booking reservations and getting tickets in advance, where you can! Keep in mind that February is part of Arizona’s “busy season.”
