Shenandoah National Park Headquarters
For breathtaking views, drive along the iconic Skyline Drive or Blue Ridge Parkway. For those wanting to hike, there are over 500 available trails! An especially popular Charlottesville hike is Humpback Rocks, a short but strenuous hike about 30 minutes from Charlottesville. At the top you'll get a great view of the sweeping Shenandoah Valley below!
Saunders-Monticello Trail
A few minutes south from downtown Charlottesville, this is where Hunter proposed to Madeline! This is for anyone looking to enjoy pristine woodlands and scenic vistas.
Downtown Mall
This is the main downtown hub in Charlottesville. It is a great pedestrian mall filled with local dining and shops!
Monticello
Visit the historic home of Thomas Jefferson just a few minutes from UVA. The exhibits are fantastic and do a wonderful job of capturing the entirety of who Jefferson was. Definitely recommend for our history buff friends!
The Rotunda
If you haven't been to Charlottesville before, it's worth swinging by the University of Virginia's rotunda and taking a stroll down the lawn!
