FAQs

Question

Is a passport required for travel?

Answer

Yes, since it is an international trip to Cancun, Mexico, ALL guests will need a valid passport. Make sure your passport does not expire within 6 months of your travel dates, as this is a requirement for entry into Mexico. We recommend double-checking now to avoid any last minute surprises!

Question

When is the deadline for booking the room block? When are final payments due?

Answer

Room reservations must be made by November 1, 2025. Final payments are due by July 20, 2026. We are recommending booking early to ensure availability!

Question

Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not bring children or additional guests that are outside of the guest list due to the venue's capacity of 80 people. Kids and significant others certainly can stay at the resort booking through the room block, but would just be unable to attend the actual wedding. Message me if you have any questions!

Question

What is all included in our stay at the resort?

Answer

It's an all-inclusive resort, so your stay covers pretty much everything-food, drinks, snacks, and much more (yes cocktails too!). Some restaurants may offer optional "upgrades" for certain menu items, and those will clearly be marked with a price. Please note that spa services are not included and would need to be paid for separately if you'd like to treat yourself!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather is typically warm and pleasant, with daytime temperatures averaging in the mid-80s and cooler evenings in the low 70s. It is also dry season, so there's plenty of sunshine and low humidity to celebrate by the pool!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 pm, so we kindly ask you to arrive by 4:45 pm to allow time to take a seat and settle in. We can't wait to share this special moment with you!

Question

Where should I sit?

Answer

Please feel free to sit wherever you like during the ceremony! Assigned seating will be provided for the reception.

Question

When will we eat?

Answer

Appetizers will be passed around during cocktail hour, and a full dinner buffet will be served during the reception. More info on food coming soon!

Question

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

Oh yes. It's an open bar, so hydrate accordingly!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is beach casual, think lightweight fabrics, breezy, fun and comfy shoes as the ceremony will be on the beach (sand-friendly encouraged!). We kindly ask you to avoid wearing any shades of white.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We'd love for you to be fully present with us in the moment! Don't worry, we've got amazing photographers capturing it all, and we'll be sharing those photos with you! After the ceremony, feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and the reception!

Question

Do we have a gift registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! You can find it on our website under the registry tab. If you are joining us in Cancun, your presence is truly the best gift-we mean it! The registry is mostly for our wonderful friends and family who can't make it but still want to send something our way!

Question

Is there an afterparty?

Answer

Absolutely! Once the reception winds down, we'll be heading to Spins, the nightclub at our resort, to keep the celebration going! No need to change, come as you are.

Question

Will there be a gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be a short break, but during this time guests can enjoy cocktail hour on the beach with appetizers and drinks being served, we will be taking family photos and sneak in a few more shots of bride and groom. Eat, mingle, and get ready for the party to continue!

Question

Is tipping expected at the all-inclusive resort?

Answer

Tipping is not required, but it is definitely appreciated! While the resort is all-inclusive, many guests choose to tip for great service-especially for bartenders, servers, housekeeping, and transportation. It's enirely up to you, but bringing bills in 1s, 5s, and some 10s can go a long way in showing appreciation.
