Hunter and I are lucky enough to have had mutual friends throughout all of high school and therefore have known each other from a far since the age of 16. However, it wasn't until college that our story really began. On my 20th birthday, sparks began to fly as all our friends got together in Oxford to celebrate. The night of August 11th, 2016 we went down to The Square to visit the infamous Levee (RIP). We had a blast with all of our friends and ended the night with a trip to chicken-on-a-stick where Hunter marveled at the fact that I had never before tried Oxford's famous delicacy. Following that night, Hunter and I began talking and hanging out very frequently on The Square, at Sardis, or on campus at his second home: The Pike House. Our very first real date was a dinner at the Oxford Grille House on The Square and on November 9th, 2016 he finally asked me to be his girlfriend! Throughout the remainder of college, we took many trips to away football games, spring breaks and holidays, we also attended many concerts (mainly the Mojiles and the Mustache Band lol), and visited NOLA more times than we can count! It was during college that we became not only a strong couple but also very bestfriends. Following our college career, I moved back to Texas to begin working and Hunter moved home to Memphis to do the same. We spent a year and a half in this long distance relationship traveling back and forth to one another, the hardest year and half by far and we are SO GLAD that we are past that chapter in our book! On December 31st, 2018, Hunter popped the easiest question I have ever had to answer! We are so excited for July 18th, 2020 and cannot wait for the day to be here so that we can begin our life together!
