Flight

Reagan National Airport (DCA)

Northern Virginia has multiple airports, but DCA is definitely the easiest for domestic flights and is only a short car ride from all hotel and rental suggestions.

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

IAD is a bit further but still a convenient option. It’s about a 30 minute ride to Old Town Alexandria. Although IAD is accessible by Metro, for convenience, we recommend a rental car or Uber.

Train

Metro - King Street

DCA is three metro stops and a quick 8 minute ride from King Street Station, making it easy to get to and from the airport if you are interested in taking public transportation.
