On June 11, 2017, Kayla’s friend decided she wanted to go out to lunch with a friend of hers. While Kayla was not down to third wheel, it so happened that Kayla’s friend had someone that could go to lunch with so she wouldn't third wheel! This blind date turned into a match only God could have made. Through three years Hunter and Kayla have been unstoppable. The couple has traveled, played softball, ate at too many places, cried, laughed a lot, and loved even harder! The love between Kayla and Hunter is something that many dreams of and it is shown through their actions, respect and it is all because God placed two imperfect people in a perfect situation!

On July 1, 2020 on The Davis Family Vacation Hunter poped the question! It all started 4 months ago when he recieved blessings from his family and Kayla’s family to ask her to be his wife. As time neared he knew he wanted to do it at the beach in a speical and unique way to throw off Kayla. He got down on one knee during the family game night after drawing on Kayla’s back and making her guess. In front of their closest family and best friends they said yes to forever!
