Our Story
HOW WE MET
Kaelin and Hunter officially met during their second year of college at residential assistant training. On the very first night there was a group dinner where everyone was encouraged to mingle and meet fellow RAs. Spotting two guys standing off to the side, Kaelin recognized that they shared a mutual friend and saw it as the perfect conversation starter. That moment brought her to Hunter and his best friend, and the conversation quickly took off. Kaelin ended up talking with the two of them for the rest of the training dinner. As they talked, they realized they would all be in Organic Chemistry I together, which naturally led to more conversation about classes and college life. Before the night ended, Hunter asked for Kaelin’s contact information to start a study group. Kaelin happily shared it, unaware that Hunter’s intentions were a bit more than academic. What started as a study group slowly grew into a close friendship and eventually a relationship.

Later on, they realized this wasn’t actually their first meeting. The year before, they had been in several of the same classes and had even briefly interacted without either of them remembering. It turns out their paths had crossed long before the timing was right. After dating for a year and a half, Hunter proposed to Kaelin on March 7, 2025. Now, with that same sense of laughter, friendship and perfect timing, forever begins.
