Question

What is our home address?

Answer

Thank you in advance for your contributions. Our address is 1865 N Terry St Apt 3, Longmont, CO, 80501.

Question

Is it easy to find?

Answer

Google Maps will only get you so far - we will have a sign at the GPS drop off point to get you to the site. Apple Maps seems to take you directly to the location. Look for balloons and signs.

Question

Can we park on site?

Answer

Yes, but the space will be limited. We request you carpool as much as possible to reduce the congestion.

Question

What are we eating?

Answer

During cocktail hour, there will be Mediterranean hor'dourves. Dinner starts at 3, and we are having BBQ. We will make sure to have vegetarian options.

Question

Are we serving alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we have purchased a limited amount of beer and wine. Please feel free to bring your own libations along. We will have plenty of ice and coolers. Additionally, we will be at an elevation of about 8,500ft. For those of you who hail from low elevation, please be sure to drink plenty of water and know that alcohol can sneak up on you quickly at elevation.

Question

Should I wear high heels?

Answer

The ceremony is about 700 ft into the woods and the reception dinner is outside, so we would advise wearing flat, closed toed shoes.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in Colorado is usually the warmest month, but we are also in the mountains. It can always be windy and a little brisk out of the sun. Even if the weather says it's going to be warm, it's best to bring along an extra layer - and maybe an umbrella.

Question

Is there cell phone reception up there?

Answer

Yes, you should have no problems with cell service.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

ASAP! We are trying to finalize our guest counts for different vendors, so please let us know if you can make it :)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Look at the Registry tab with a few items from Zola, a Honeymoon fund, and then a link to our other registry on Amazon. If you are thinking of purchasing us something off the registry, please ask beforehand... we've lived together for a while and have accumulated quite a lot. With that said, Hunter really wants a Ms. Pac-Man/ Galaga arcade machine. There is one at Game Force in Longmont, Co. that is ~ $1,000. Please don't get it for him, he would be far too happy.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Cocktail hour begins at 1 pm. The ceremony will start at 2 pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Relaxed and Refined. Look good and be comfortable!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a person in mind that we left out, please reach out directly to Hunter or Julie.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, but please be aware that we are in the woods in the mountains. We have a few people who are planning some fun kids activities, but make sure your little one's don't wander off too far!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a few recommendation on the 'Staying in Woodland Park' tab. Air BnBs are VRBOs are still available in the area, but are booking fast! Colorado Springs is also nearby.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely, please reach out to Julie directly

Question

What do you mean by "in the mountains"?

Answer

The venue is 7 minutes outside of Woodland Park, CO. The population of the town is about 7,500 but it is a popular tourist destination, so while it is no metropolis there are familiar amenities like Walmart, chain restaurants, and even a golf course back in town. The venue however is only surrounded by a few dozen large properties (between 20-500 acres). The venue itself is on a rather uneven 21 acre plot of stereotyplical sub-alpine forest but some surrounding properties have been cleared for ranching and horses With that being said, the likely hood of running into forrest critters is very small, but there is a real possibility. Colorado is home to many apex predators (mostly big cats), and some dopey black bears (basically big, stinky dogs). Please educate yourself and your little ones about these beasts and how to react if you encounter one.

Question

Are you aware that the picture on your invitation is stupid and blurry?

Answer

Yes, we are very aware that it is stupid and blurry, but that is the first picture of us together.
