We're getting Married!

We first met on August 31, 2023, at a mutual friend’s going-away party. Peyton Elizondo, who worked with Hunter, was also one of Julia’s clients turned to best friend. Peyton convinced Julia to attend the party, and we didn’t realize that Hunter wasn’t planning on going either—until Peyton texted the work group chat saying Julia was coming, which might make them a little late. For some background Information, Hunter had seen Julia’s photos on Peyton’s social media months before. So when he saw the message about Julia coming, he turned to his friends and said, “Let’s go—I need to see if this is the girl I think it is.” Julia, on the other hand, had no idea who Hunter was. When she saw him walk into the party, her first thought was, “I hope he’s here for Peyton’s party… and that he’s single.” As Hunter and his friend walked over to say hi to Peyton, First thing Julia did was casually look at his left hand—no ring! Thank God. Ahahah! As the night went on, Julia and Hunter started talking and hit it off right away. The group decided to head to a bar, but with the noise, Julia and Hunter decided to step outside to get some fresh air. They spent a long time chatting about everything—past relationships, what they were looking for in a partner, faith, family, and more. The next three days, they hung out non-stop, and by the fourth day, they went on their “first date”—watching the sunset and talking for hours. That’s when Hunter said, “You’re a really cool girl, and I like getting to know you, but I don’t want to rush into anything.” Julia, of course, thought, “It’s our first date. We’re just hanging out.” By the end of the week, Hunter planned to ask Julia to be his girlfriend—but things didn’t go quite as planned. Julia broke her finger, which threw off Hunter’s perfect moment. After a trip to urgent care to get her finger set, they went to Hunter’s place for dinner. That’s when he officially asked her out—in the kitchen, cooking together, listening to country music, and dancing.
