How far away is the venue from Cedar Rapids?

Answer

The venue is about 15 minutes away from Cedar Rapids.

Question

Is there transportation available to and from the venue and hotel?

Answer

We will talk with the hotel’s once we set aside the block of rooms. However there are cab companies and Uber/Lyft available to and from the venue at your own convenience. We strongly urge taking advantage of getting a service back to your hotels. We can make arrangements to get vehicles the next morning, as the last thing we want to happen is an accident.

Is the venue kid friendly?

Answer

This will be a “backyard wedding” and we are planning on making it as accommodating to children as possible. There may be a sparkler send off and it is the parents responsibility as to if there child should have one. We will provide a kid baggie or a kid table that will help entertain during down time. The ceremony will be short, and they are welcome to attend!

What will you be serving?

Answer

We will have different snacks available along with desserts that are available to guests. We will also be serving a breakfast buffet for dinner, as breakfast is our favorite thing to make and eat! Please let us know if you have any allergies that we need to be aware of.

Are the ceremony and the reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! They will both be held at the same location. There will be a brief cocktail hour between. There will be yard games set up for everyone to enjoy!
