Jess and I first met through my sister Michelle in 2022. Her and I slowly grew closer as friends often times hanging out after work. She often asked me to help her with projects at her house. Soon I realized I liked her, of course I could tell that the feelings weren’t mutual, so we continued as friends. I believe this was a sign from God that her and I weren’t ready. Eventually we went our separate ways and fell out of contact.
Two years later, she caught me at the In-n-Out drive thru where she asked me to go see a movie with her. A month later I asked her to be my girlfriend. December 6, 2025–a little over a year of dating—I asked Jess to marry me. - Hunter
