Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We all know that the weather in eastern NC can be unpredictable - sometimes in the upper 70s in November, and sometimes it can be a little chilly. The dress code for our wedding is semi formal, or "Sunday Best." For men - ties are optional. Ladies - stilettos may not be the best option due to our outdoor, grassy venue.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

You are more than welcome to snap as many photos as you wish during the reception. However, please allow our amazing photographer, Lindsey, to take photos during the ceremony. We will be more than happy to share the photos once they are edited and returned to us by our photographer.

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we adore children, we have opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy our celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. If you have any special concerns, please contact us directly.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Please see the 'Travel' tab on our website to explore transportation options. Uber is limited in the area so we have opted to provide shuttles to and from the ceremony for those who plan to consume alcohol. We want you to be safe and have fun - please do not drink and drive! * If you do plan to drive to and from the venue, please note that the speed limit is 30mph, and the owners of the venue will be fined if you speed. *

Question

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style, however, if you have special dietary requirements please contact Jackie directly to ensure that you will be accommodated.

Question

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

We have a fantastic bartender that will be serving beer and wine until 8:30pm, however, she will not be serving liquor.

Question

Will there be an after party?

Answer

We will be concluding the reception at 8:30pm. The shuttles will be arriving at the venue to at 8pm to begin transporting guests back to the hotel. You are welcome to change and walk downtown or take the shuttle downtown (in the event of inclement weather). The bars downtown are open until 2am. Let's boogie!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

If you choose to drive to the venue, please note that the speed limit is 30mph. If you are caught speeding by the cameras posted throughout the neighborhood, the owners of the venue will be fined. Please do not speed. We will have a parking attendant that will guide you to a parking space once you have arrived at the venue.
