We first met months before either of us could have imagined where life would take us. At the time, we were simply two people who happened to know the same couple who introduced us. Little did we know that being part of their wedding would end up changing our lives forever. From the moment we met, something just clicked. Conversation came easily, laughter came naturally, and before long, we realized we genuinely loved being around each other. The connection was instant. From the very beginning, our relationship moved quickly. In the span of a single week, we went on our first date, officially started dating, met Hunter’s parents, and even said, “I love you.” To this day, we still can’t completely agree on what actually counted as our first date, but one thing we do agree on is that we both knew early on that what we had was something special. Over the next five years, we built a relationship rooted in faith, friendship, trust, and unwavering support. Together, we navigated military deployments, family challenges, long days of school and studying, career changes, and all of life’s unexpected twists and turns. Through every season, we celebrated victories big and small, created countless memories, and continued choosing each other every single day. After four years together, Hunter finally asked the question everyone had been waiting for, and I happily said yes. It was an easy answer to the easiest decision of my life. Now, as we celebrate more than five years together, we are so excited to begin our next chapter as husband and wife. More than anything, we look forward to building a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and the simple joy of coming home to one another every night. Thank you for being part of our story.
