we're getting married!

we have been attending the same school since we were in third grade, yet we didn't really know one another until our junior year of high school. we had multiple classes together, but we were often paired together in our physics class. we quickly formed a friendship, finding out we were actually friends with many of the same people but had not crossed paths. toward the end of junior year, we decided to go to prom as friends. over the summer, our friendship quickly turned into more and we began dating the day before our senior year of high school.

time at the beach is something that has always been part of our relationship. whether it be just the two of us for a date or with all our friends and a frisbee, we often find ourselves spending time at the beach. so, when we went to the beach on a saturday with our friends, I thought it was just a normal night. we were goofing around, throwing a frisbee and running in and out of the lake. the lighting was perfect for a few pictures, so our friends grabbed their cameras and started shooting. after a few, Hunter said "I have one more pose I want to try" and began to tell me all the things he loves about me as he got down onto one knee. he asked if he could be the luckiest man in the world and if I would be his wife. I cried, screamed yes, and celebrated with our closest friends in our very favorite place
