Hunter and Cory first met in 2018 during their sophomore year at Capital University in an Applied Human Anatomy class. They were both trying to keep up with the accelerated course while balancing busy schedules- Hunter was working night shifts and Cory was starting her softball season. Realizing they could both use a little help keeping up, Hunter asked Cory if she wanted to study together. What started as study sessions quickly turned into many late nights at the library, where they spent time getting to know each other. After a few weeks, Hunter asked Cory on their first official date for Valentine's Day. The relationship continued to grow, and they made things official in June 2018 when Hunter joined Cory’s family to celebrate her oldest brother and sister-in-law’s wedding. Since then, the couple has been fortunate to attend many other weddings together, celebrating some of their favorite people along the way. In the years that followed, they supported each other through many milestones. Cory graduated from Kettering College in April 2024 with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, and Hunter graduated from the Columbus Police Academy in July 2024. They are incredibly proud of each other’s accomplishments and are so excited to finally celebrate their own special day surrounded by all of their favorite people.
