Less than 15 miles from Morgantown, Coopers Rock State Forest is home to some of the most iconic views in Almost Heaven. The park features canyon overlooks, historic sites, picnic shelters, more than 50 miles of hiking and biking trails, sandstone cliffs for climbing and bouldering, and a cross-country ski terrain. A must-see for anyone wanting to see the beauty of West Virginia!
A regular spot for Hunter and Connor, this sports bar features an extensive menu and beer selection. Founded by WVU alumni in 2008, this is a great spot to catch any game while having a perfect view of Milan Puskar Stadium. Try Hunter’s favorite, the elote beef tacos, or Connor’s go-to, the bang bang shrimp tacos!
Bunkers features four golf simulators that can also be used for a variety of other sports including soccer, football, baseball, even darts! Conveniently located in the same building as Short Story Brewing and The Burger Place, you can order ahead of time or during your round! Short Story Brewing has outdoor seating right on the Monongahela River and features a rotating selection of local brews.
