If you’re looking for more options, nearby towns like Venice and Port Charlotte offer additional hotels and are just a short drive away. Weather October in Florida is warm, with daytime temperatures typically in the 80s. Evenings are a bit cooler, and while rain is less frequent that time of year, a light layer or umbrella wouldn’t hurt—just in case.
