Sausalito (Bay & Bridgeway)
This is the Sausalito ferry landing - the most scenic way to get to and from San Francisco. Grab a seat up top and enjoy the ride!
Muir Woods National Monument
A beautiful, quiet place to walk among the redwoods. It’s especially peaceful in the morning.
Marin Headlands
Great for hikes or scenic drives. The views of the Golden Gate and the coast never get old.
Mount Tamalpais
We often head up here for hikes or just to take in the view. It’s a great way to spend a few hours outdoors.
Mill Valley Lumber Yard
A great mix of local boutiques and small makers in a century old property.
Larkspur
A quiet, walkable town with good food and a few nice shops. Rustic Bakery is worth a visit (the cookies are excellent), and Marin Country Mart is an easy stop for lunch or coffee.
Sol Food
A local staple for Puerto Rican food. So yummy!
Squalo Vino
A cozy wine bar with a great selection and a nice patio. It’s a great pre-dinner stop or a relaxed way to take in the Tiburon waterfront.
Sam's Anchor Cafe
A classic Tiburon spot with a huge deck right on the water. Great for oysters, seafood, or just a drink in the sun. It’s also right next to our welcome party at Bungalow Kitchen.
Ferry Building
One of our favorite places to grab coffee, wine, snacks, or lunch. You’ll find everything from oysters to pastries, all with a beautiful waterfront view.
North Beach
Great for a stroll and a slice from Tony’s Pizza (worth the wait). Pop into City Lights Bookstore or walk up to Coit Tower for a view.
Golden Gate Park
You can spend hours here—bike rentals, the Japanese Tea Garden, the Conservatory of Flowers, or just a picnic on the grass.
Lands End Trail
A favorite walk along the cliffs with views of the Golden Gate and the ocean. It’s scenic, peaceful, and doesn’t require a huge hike.
Mission District
We head here for amazing food. Tartine Bakery is always a go-to, and La Taqueria is a classic. There’s also great vintage shopping and street art along Clarion Alley.
Crissy Field
An easy, flat walk along the water with unbeatable bridge views. Good for a run or a stroll with a coffee.
Presidio Tunnel Tops
We love walking through the park trails and grabbing a bite at Colibri or the food trucks at Presidio Tunnel Tops.
Cow Hollow
A good mix of shops, bars, and cafés. It’s a nice area to wander without a plan.
