FAQs

Question

Answer

Please refer to the invitation suite. Some guests are invited to the tea ceremony, wedding ceremony, and reception, while others may be invited only to select events.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is end of the day on July 1st. Simply click the RSVP tab above to submit your response.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Cocktail Attire. We invite guests to wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, elegant separates, suits, or sport coats with dress slacks. Please refrain from wearing white or ivory attire, denim, khakis, sneakers, baseball caps, work boots, or other overly casual clothing. While the dress code is cocktail, our celebration embraces creativity and self-expression. Bold colors, interesting textures, sculptural silhouettes, vintage pieces, statement jewelry, expressive accessories, and personal flair are all warmly welcomed. If you've been waiting for an occasion to wear something memorable, this is it. A note on cultural attire: Our wedding celebrates the joining of cultures, families, and traditions. We warmly encourage guests to approach fashion with curiosity and respect: if a trend or garment is inspired by another culture's traditional clothing, please take time to understand its background and significance before wearing it. Outfits that treat cultural dress as a costume or aesthetic trend are not appropriate for this celebration. Most importantly, we hope you'll take this opportunity to dress up, have fun, and celebrate with us.

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

The venue features a grassy lawn, so guests may be most comfortable in block heels, wedges, dress flats, loafers, or other footwear suitable for outdoor terrain.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15-30 min early to find parking and settle in.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Guest parking is available in the dirt lot at the church adjacent to Bungalow on Boise. Please use caution when entering and exiting, as the property is located along a creek in a residential neighborhood with pedestrians and wildlife nearby.

Question

Can I bring my kid or pet?

Answer

Children specifically named on invitations are warmly welcomed. As much as we love pets, please leave your animals at home.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Only guests listed on your invitation are included in the tea ceremony and marriage ceremony. If you have questions regarding reception attendance, please reach out directly to Caitlin and Hunter.

Question

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Bungalow on Boise is an outdoor venue with a grassy lawn and towering trees. We recommend dressing comfortably for the weather and choosing footwear suitable for grass.

Question

What's the weather like in October in Boise?

Answer

October in Boise is typically clear and mild, with daytime temperatures in the low 70s. Evenings can be cooler, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. We encourage guests to arrange their own transportation, whether through rideshare services, Valley Regional Transit, or a designated driver. The safety of our guests is important to us, and we kindly ask that anyone planning to drink arrange a safe ride to and from the celebration.

Question

Where should I stay in Boise?

Answer

Looking for somewhere walkable and close to downtown? Check out the North End or Veterans Park. Looking for somewhere closer to the Nguyen Home? Look at Sunset, Highland, or Collister. Want to be close to the venue? Southeast Boise and The Bench!
