Q & A

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We will send out formal invitations by August! Roughly 3 months before the big day! RSVPs will be due by September 14th!! 2 months before the big day! We ask that you RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation! We would love for you to join us, but if you can't no worries! We just want to be able to fill your seat if you have prior commitments.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes there will be parking! It is a short walk to where the ceremony is and to where the reception is. There will be a shuttle though if you are unable to walk to the ceremony spot!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should arrive at least thirty minutes before the start of the ceremony. Once the ceremony starts you won't be permitted to sit down. However, you may still join us for the reception!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We will specify on your invitation if a plus one is included in your invite! We have a limited number of seats that we have to stick to. We would love for everyone to be able to bring a guest, but due to limited seating this just isn't possible! We will specify on your invitation how many seats we have reserved in your honor! We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to dress up! No jeans please, but khakis and a polo is completely fine for the guys! Ladies, you may wear dresses, jumpsuits, or anything that is dressy, just no jeans! A blouse and dress pants or paper bag pants are also completely fine! However, we do ask that everyone refrains from wearing white, plum, or lavender. These colors will be reserved for the wedding party!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love children but due to limited seating we will specify on your invitation if your children are invited! Please use this as an opportunity to go on a date night kid free! If we had more seating we would love for every child to be there! Sorry if this is an inconvenience!

Question

Am I allowed to take pictures during the ceremony & reception?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony! If you do not know what this is, it is a ceremony where we ask our guests to put away their phones throughout the ceremony and be fully present! We will allow sixty seconds at the beginning of the ceremony for our guests to put out their phones and take as many pictures as they want! Our officient will let you know when you may do this. However, once he says that time is up we ask that you put away your phones. We have two amazing photographers for a reason and we would love for each and every one of our guests to be fully present during this time! However, as soon as you enter the reception feel free to take as many photos as you like! We will even have a QR code on each table that you may scan that will send your photos to a shared photo for us to look back on and enjoy!

Question

Is there going to be alcohol?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY NOT! We also ask that you refrain from bringing in any outside alcohol! If you do so you will be asked to leave!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

First, please RSVP no, so that we can fill your seat! Second, we will be having someone go live on Facebook for the ceremony if you can't attend, but want to watch the ceremony!

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Dinner will be provided at the reception so please come hungry!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors weather permitting! The reception will be indoors inside the barn at the venue!

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

Just yourself and whoever we include on your invitation! We can't wait to celebrate with you all!

For all the days along the way
