Hunter and I first crossed paths at a backyard bonfire, but our story truly began freshman year of high school. Thanks to the alphabet and Mr. Larson’s seating chart, we were placed side-by-side and spent a full year building a friendship before we officially started dating on August 28, 2015. From two high school proms to graduating from the University of Minnesota Duluth, we’ve navigated every chapter together. While Hunter spent his college weekends duck hunting, I was happy to keep the blind stocked with treats for the boys. After graduation, we moved back home and focused on a single goal: building our future in Prescott, Wisconsin. On July 14, 2024, we finally broke ground on our dream home. Just five days later, on the path leading to our front door, Hunter proposed, marking the spot with a heart in the concrete. Building a home is said to be a test for any couple, but whether we were shoveling rock in 90-degree heat or picking out finishes, it only made us stronger. We moved in on May 6, 2025, and have since added a new member to the family: our puppy, Harvey, who is already training to be Hunter’s favorite hunting buddy. We feel incredibly blessed to be saying "I do" on our 11th anniversary. We’ve already built a beautiful life together, and we can’t wait to continue to grow our future as a couple.
