We're getting married!!

Hunter and I met junior year, which was great timing because that’s when everyone hits their peak level of “I’m here physically, but mentally I left two years ago.” Our first conversation wasn’t magical or life-changing. It was probably something thrilling, like asking for a pen or complaining about how long the day felt. Hunter had this calm, unbothered energy, which was impressive considering junior year is basically a year long group project no one asked for I figured anyone that good at pretending to have their life together might be worth talking to. Somehow, we kept talking. Probably because neither of us had anything better to do, and also because ignoring each other would’ve taken too much effort. And that’s really how it happened: Two juniors trying to survive the same year, minding our own business, and accidentally ending up in each other’s lives. No big moment. No dramatic story. Just two tired people who started talking and forgot to stop.
