When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue at 5 pm to find parking and to be seated by 5:15 pm for the ceremony. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside.

What should I wear to your wedding?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is garden formal. For men, a suit and tie or dress pants with a blazer is suitable. For ladies, a colorful floor length gown or sophisticated cocktail dress is preferred. Please do not wear white, cream, champagne, or any dress with a white base.

Do the Bride and Groom have any special requests?

Answer

Yes! We kindly request that you do not chew gum on our wedding day. Also, we will be having an unplugged ceremony, so please silence your phones and do not take pictures during our ceremony.

Will there be food and alcohol at your wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will have light charcuterie during cocktail hour and Italian dinner during the reception. There will also be limited pizza as well for picky eaters. We will be providing Sassafras' award-winning wine and beer to complement our food, please do not bring any outside alcoholic beverages.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! Please park in front of the event center. There is a short walk from the parking lot to the Chapel.

Where can I RSVP?

Answer

Unfortunately, the deadline to RSVP has passed. If you need to make any urgent changes to your party please reach out to Tristan or Lily as soon as possible. (913) 514-4594 or (405) 922-5235.

Is Sassafras handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! There will also be a golf cart to drive guests to and from the chapel to the reception space!

Can I bring my kids or a plus one to your wedding?

Answer

Due to limited capacity in our reception hall, we ask that you bring your children or any plus ones only if they are listed by name on your RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
