The day we met also happened to be the day after moving from Nevada back home to Oregon. I went to help move the rest of my older brother Cameron’s stuff out from his previous home. Cameron’s previous home being Dillon’s new home. I brought my 4 month old pup Wrangler along to help move stuff and he ended up meeting Dillon that day too. Dillon was getting ready to leave for work in his Paramedic uniform and I couldn’t help to at least have some interest into my brother’s friend that I had just met for the first time. LOL! Just ended up being that he was asking my brother about ME as well. Little did we know it lead us to where we are now, living in that same home together for the past 4 years.

We had been excited for a winter getaway that we booked for New Years in Sunriver Oregon at a resort. A few days before leaving for our getaway, Dillon surprised me with one of my favorite surprises (that I usually get a few times a year) - my cousin Danielle had flown in from Las Vegas and he planned for the 3 of us to take the vacation together that weekend at the resort. We went and walked around the resort with different holiday decorated store, restaurants, etc. There was fresh snow covering the whole resort and we went for a walk around the outside of the lodge the evening of New Years. We stopped to take photos on a bridge going over the frozen creek outside of the lodge. Thats when they started acting suspicious and he dropped on one knee and proposed to me in front of my bestfriend. Couldn’t ask for a better scenario. Photos from the trip is in the gallery.
