Benjamin and Aimee met at Citylight Church through a large group of friends. When they first met, Benjamin thought Aimee was a bit of a hard ass and Aimee thought, "Who is this weird guy with a man bun who paints his nails?" Nevertheless, they bonded over Star Wars and bad Wendy's drive-thrus and their friendship grew. During a week-long vacation to Puerto Rico, they caught feelings for each other, but neither of them knew the feelings were mutual. Once back in Philly, they went on weekly coffee and thrift shopping trips (which they eventually learned were actually dates). After denying her feelings one week before talking to him, Aimee finally got the nerve to confess her interest in Ben on Mother's Day. Ben made Aimee wait 72 business hours before their DTR and Aimee got no sleep for 72 business hours. Ever since that day on May 11th, 2022, it has been an amazing journey for them to go through life and look back on God's perfect timing in bringing them together.

On 6/13/22 (the anniversary of Monika going home to Jesus), Aimee surprised Ben with a tailgate picnic, including a charcuterie board and nail painting, in honor of her mom's love of serving others.

Every month, BA picks a day close to their dating anniversary and make a "pilgrimage" to Lucky's Last Chance to try their "burger of the month." This tradition started even before they were dating.
It didn't take Ben and Aimee long to coordinate outfits without even trying to!
On November 12th, 2022, Benjamin forgot how to kneel and asked Aimee to spend the rest of their lives together. (A woman hotboxing in her car cheered excitedly at the occasion).
