Michelle Geraldine Griffin Hutchison has been a major part of the bride’s life since Christina made her arrival just one week before Michelle’s 7th birthday. The two still agree it is the best birthday present Michelle has ever received. Michelle has always taken her role as big sister very seriously. She has served Christina as teacher, cheerleader, advice-giver, travel partner, fashion adviser, best friend, and now Matron of Honor. Michelle and her husband Shane have two beautiful children: Isabella, age 4 and Luke, 18 months. Michelle works as a registered nurse in the Neuro ICU in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Madeline Spickard

Christina and Madeline (Maddie) meeting was completely an act of fate and good luck. Both women applied to the Honors program at the University of Central Arkansas and applied for a dorm room with a random roommate. After getting their assignment, both girls nervously internet creeped to get a sense of who they would be living with for a whole year. That year turned out to be the start of a now 10 year friendship full of laughs, traveling, late nights (of studying and extracurricular activities) and navigating adulthood. Maddie and Christina lived together all four years of college and have remained best of friends. Maddie went on to receive her Masters in Public Affairs from Indiana University. She now works for the Little Rock affiliate of National Public Radio as Membership Director.

Kaitlyn Griffin

Kaitlyn Childers Griffin came into Christina’s life when she was just 13. Not yet a Griffin, Kaitlyn was dating Christina’s older brother James. As their relationship grew, Kaitlyn became such an integral part of the Griffin family and Christina and Kaitlyn became very close. Christina was one of Kaitlyn’s bridesmaids when she and James married in 2010 and they’ve been through all of life’s big moments since. Kaitlyn and James are parents to handsome James Michael and ENTER BABY G. Kaitlyn works as an orthopedic APRN in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Maggie Naramore

If you happen to see baby pictures of both Christina and Maggie Naramore, it might be hard to tell them apart. Believe it or not, the two are not related by blood but they have shared a lifetime of strong friendship. Maggie and Christina met as babies in Little Rock, Arkansas when Maggie’s family was living there. Sadly for the two young friends, Maggie’s family moved back to Ireland. But distance has had no effect on a friendship like theirs! Both girls have spent time traveling to and from the US and Ireland, as well as some other European adventures. They’ve seen each other through thick and thin and their friendship knows no limits of miles or years apart. Maggie is currently living in Galway, the city where Mark and Christina will be wed.

Dr. Jordan Bramwell has been known by many titles throughout the years of her friendship with Christina. She has gone from “the girl in the honors dorms studying for the MCAT” to “the friend who is helping me get settled at college” to “the girl having slumber parties in our dorm” to “sorority big sister” to “favorite Skype date” to “inspiring, hard-working doctor who will change the world.” Jordan and Christina’s friendship began in Conway, Arkansas but has since stretched and grown as both women chased their dreams. Kaitlyn Thompson is one of those people who gives her heart and soul to her friendships. Christina met Kaitlyn freshman year of college when they joined the same sorority and Christina immediately knew that Kaitlyn was a go-getter who you wanted on your team. Since then, Kaitlyn’s adventurous spirit and excellent organizational skills have led the friend group to more fun times than can be mentioned. Kaitlyn works at a school in Little Rock, Arkansas as a speech-language pathologist.

Everyone has that friend who you can’t be around without laughing and joking about something, and that friend for Christina is Amber Barker. Every time the two are together there are laughs, silly jokes, and even accents. Amber and Christina joined the same sorority freshman year of college but their friendship truly began on a beach trip freshman year in which they didn’t stop laughing for 5 days straight. Amber has been bringing smiles and laughter to Christina’s life ever since. But Amber is not just hilarious, she is brave, and strong, and kind. Amber has made the transition from college girl to incredible woman without ever losing the fun-loving, joyous part of herself that her friends love so much. Throughout college where she and Christina met, Emilie was the epitome of “work hard play hard” when she excelled in a challenging nursing program while never missing a beach trip or a night at the Den. Emilie is still maintaining her work/life balance of investing in friendships and maintaining her excellence in CRNA school. She is the group go-to for all medical questions and the best life advice.
