We met online in Atlanta of 2009 and instantly sparked interest in one another. It was like love at first sight! Chris and I have so much in common; we like to cook, we like to eat and above all we were born in the same city HEMPSTEAD!!!!! After going on multiple dates to..... McDonald's lol (That's my favorite) and other places, Chris had to go to New York to visit his first nephew Jayden. But once he came back he demanded we we're official. We picked out a house, furniture, settings and such. But as months moved past we realize we were in 2 different places in life. So we went our seperate years. In between 2010 and 2016 I moved back home to New York. Even though we were miles apart we always kept in touch. Staying friends throughout the years. January 2017 I moved back to the south but in route my bus got delayed and Chris came to my rescue for the night until my morning bus departure to Alabama. He cooked dinner, washed my clothes, we watched tv and caught up on life. At that moment we knew we were destined to be together. So I ended up getting a job and moving back to Atlanta. Life was going great til I knew what was missing was making a sacred bond that 2 will NEVER break. So I got his close friends and family from New York and Baltimore to witness me ask him for his last name. April 8, 2017 started crazy. Chris was sick all day, throwing up all over. We met up with friends for the Dogwood Festival then to Ormsbys. Where I planned to pop the BIG QUESTION. But Chris got worst and had to go to the hospital. But before we went I gathered everyone outside and popped the question and he said "YES". Now I can't wait to marry my best friend and live the life we always planned with each other. #Onepher18
