Marquis and Jessica met while working at C Lazy U Ranch in Granby, Colorado—Marquis as a sous chef and Jess as a chef de partie completing her Johnson & Wales internship. After the season ended, Jess returned to Rhode Island to finish her bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, and the two began a long-distance relationship. Following her graduation from JWU, Jess moved to South Carolina to be closer to Marquis, who had moved there a few months earlier. On May 17, 2025, Marquis popped the question, and it’s been happily ever after ever since!
