Garrett is Jonny's brother in red and yellow, NC State and NCDOT that is. They met freshman year and it was as if the starts has been aligned by the devine. Two rockets in the same league. They both were in civil engineering together and endured many long nights studying and doing projects. The long nights may have been due to them playing disc golf in the daylight hours. From football games to beach trips. From walking across the same stage in their red gowns to jumping in their yellow trucks at NCDOT. Best friends separated by distance but not in heart, or by Xbox chat. Garrett is happily married to his wife Emilee, they both love travelling and hanging out with bride and groom to be.

Haley is proud to call Katie one of her oldest friends and “second sister”, as Haley’s family lovingly calls her. Ever since becoming friends in 2010, Haley has cherished growing alongside Katie through bad spray tans, bubble necklaces, monograms, tap shoes, repeat-after-me songs, and the enabling each other’s shopping addictions. Haley is local to Raleigh and serves as the director of youth and family ministry at a local church. In her free time, she enjoys jamming with her band, hot yoga, frolicking with her dog Winston, and obsessing over whatever fantasy book she’s reading.

Austin and Jon are both from the Archdale, NC area. He knew Jon in high school along with another groomsman, Tucker. They shared the same friend groups and ran track on the same 4x400 team. However, he didn’t really become close friends with Jon until post college era. Now he enjoys beating Jon in disc golf, catan, and carrying him in rocket league. He's a Cardiac ICU nurse in Winston and lives with his girlfriend Lydia. Lydia and Katie have also become close friends. Austin is thankful for Jon and Katie's friendship, and is very excited to celebrate come August.

Abbie is one of Katie's original college best friends. They met the first month of their freshman year of college through Omega Phi Alpha, and have spent the last 8 years serving communities, eating too much ice cream, and tearing up thrift shops together! Abbie is currently an urban designer in Raleigh, and her and Katie spend time together weekly.

Hi I'm Casey! Katie and I were in the same service sorority pledge class and all of us have been close ever since. In college, we were frequent study buddies, although that was mostly us laughing in the library. After college, we lived together, which is definitely a highlight of our friendship!! I moved to Georgia to get my PhD, but whenever I visit Katie it's like no time has passed :)

I have known Jonny since we met freshman year at NCSU in Tucker hall. We became best friends (which all redheads do) and spent 4 years playing sports, eating at fountain, and goofing off. After graduating and moving to different cities Jonny and I took every excuse to hang out. Since then, Jonny and Katie have become my closest friends and share the best memories friends could have.

I currently live in New York but Raleigh is always home so when I'm back we all hang out and its like we’ve never missed a beat. Katie and I became friends working together at Central Dermatology Center. Our friendship grew as we both attended PA school at Campbell( I was in the class ahead of Katie). Through weekly phone chats our long distance friendship has thrived. I’m thrilled to be standing with her on this important day!💕

Alston met Jonathon as a freshman in the hallowed walls of Tucker Hall. There were many side quests and study adventures throughout college that would fill an entire novel. Alston had a little too much fun in college and graduated a year later than Jonathan (even when we started at the same time). Currently Alston works in Raleigh at an engineering firm next to Carter Finley (so we didn't want to move very far from his student days obviously). Alston loves seeing friends, jumping his heart rate doing semi dangerous extra curricular activities, and traveling with his beautiful partner Cassie.

From co-service directors to roommates to now lifelong friends, she can't wait to celebrate Katie and Johnny on their newest journey together.

Kenny met Johnny through Garrett sophomore year at NC State. They became quick and concrete friends bonding over the stresses of NC State Football, specifically how to get to and from the tailgates, and studying together. Post college Johnny and Kenny have kept up via bachelor parties, weddings, and random run ins in Colorado. Kenny now lives in Richmond VA with his wife Winslow, working for an engineering firm. He enjoys traveling, and just about anything that is outside from backpacking to snowboarding to golfing.
