We met at church and politely said “Praise the Lord”, but left it at that and didn’t speak again for the longest time. To be honest, he didnt’t even say it back which is why any idea of even having a friendship was lost. Months went by, and one day we found ourselves having an actual conversation for the first time. From there the conversation led to us sharing eachother’s deepest secrets and knowing eachother’s pasts, and just like that we became best friends. We started hearing comments about how we would go well together, and we both agreed people were out of their minds.
