Kyle + Brandi

We met at Macianos Pizza in Elgin. Brandi had been working there for a while now and one day Kyle walked in to get a pizza delivery job. Immediately Brandi and her friend Lily were convinced he needed to be hired. (Not sure if it was his good looks or what...) Kyle then was hired and started working almost every night, since COVID was happening there wasn't much to do anyways. They ended up hanging out together a few times with their friend Lily and then realized that they might like each other. So they decided to go on a date, which wasn't easy... Again, because of COVID. Brandi eventually had to go on her family vacation, which meant a week without being able to see Kyle. This is when she knew she liked him since she missed him while she was gone. As soon as she got home she went to see Kyle play hockey and right after the game they made it official, 08/08/2020.

We went to a pumpkin farm with our friend Justine and her Boyfriend. That morning they had to go pick up the ring at Kyle's parent's house because it would've been too obvious if he had done so! We spent about 5 hours there and the last thing we decided to do was go out to the pumpkin field. As Kyle looked at the pumpkins, he knelt and pointed to one, and asked Brandi to come look at it. Little did she know he was holding the ring instead of the pumpkin! She said "yes" and started crying, of course, happy tears that is! It was such a beautiful time to do it because the sun was setting in the background. You may wonder, why a pumpkin farm?? Well, both of Brandi's brothers chose to propose during Christmas time and Brandi's request was to change that up a little. Which Kyle managed to do so!
