No, our ceremony and our reception will be held at two different locations. Please plan for travel time. Please refer to your invitation for details.
Yes parking is available, but we encourage guests to use Uber/Lyft for convenience. For our ceremony free parking is available on the street and by the FamilyCenter / Parish School gym. For our reception parking is Valet only. Additional downtown parking garages are located across the street. Street parallel parking is available (this is on a hill).
Our wedding will be a semi-formal celebration, and we’d love for you to dress to match the occasion! All colors are welcomed except for white-- please do not wear white. Ladies: A cocktail dress, dressy midi, or a stylish pantsuit is perfect. Consider bringing a wrap or elegant coat for warmth. Most of our events are indoors but the outdoor travel time will be cold! For the ladies-- there will be puddles! When selecting your shoe, please opt for those that withstand the rain. Gentlemen: A suit or dress slacks with a button-down and blazer works great. A tie is optional but always sharp! Don’t forget a warm coat.
Pack layers, a warm coat, a waterproof jacket or umbrella and comfortable shoes with good tread. Evenings can get chilly near the water, so cozy accessories like scarves and hats are helpful.
On your RSVP, please indicate any food allergies.
Please arrive 15-20 mins prior to the ceremony to be seated. The main Church doors will be closed and locked once the ceremony begins. The side doors that can be accessed from either the North or South side of the church are kept unlocked.
Catholic weddings usually last around 45 minutes to an hour. We'll have a few readings, prayer intentions, exchange vows and then will end with a Mass with communion. If you are otherwise unable to receive communion or not Catholic, you may walk up with your hands crossed around your chest to receive a blessing or have moment of silent reflection at your seat.
Please refer to the details on the "Schedule" website page or your invitation.
We have limited guest space, so invitations are for named guests only. Check the RSVP link on our website to confirm your specific invitation details.
Yes, we are registered on Zola for experiences (like surfing on our honeymoon!) and on Amazon for physical items (like our dream KitchenAid!).
Yes, and we love that idea! Our registry has a few group gift options via cash funds on Zola as well as group gifting via our Amazon Registry.
We prefer to send any gifts directly to our home via our Zola and Amazon Registries. (And we’d rather save your luggage space as most of our guests are not local to Seattle!)
Snow is uncommon but not impossible. Seattle usually gets 1–2 light snowfalls a year, most often in January or February. However, nearby mountains (like Snoqualmie Pass) offer snowy day trips for winter sports.
Top indoor attractions include the Seattle Art Museum, Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), The Museum of Flight and Chihuly Garden and Glass. Don’t miss browsing the shops and cafés inside Pike Place Market or anywhere in the city!
