Robin is Maddox's mother and best friend. She practically orchestrated this entire wedding! Robin studied law and was a lawyer when she met Mark, Maddox's dad, World's best mom 25 years in a row. These days, she's big into gardening, slaying crosswords, and experimenting with fun new recipes from the New York Times.
William Mark McCollough
Father of the Bride
Mark is Maddox's dad/ hero. His accolades include Father of the year 25 years in a row, and Best Doctor this side of the Mississippi. Mark is a radiation oncologist at Mission hospital. He is a huge Florida Gators fan, loves Cycling, Blaze pizza and listening to his collection of classic rock tapes.
Li Ling Yang
Mother of the Groom
Li Ling is Hugo's mother, and rumored to be the best mother-in-law. Li Ling is the Queen of all trades, from haircuts, to fashion and interior design. She is a rebel at heart, hailing from Taiwan. Recently she has been creating resin sculptures, her own line of candles and experimenting with fusion cooking.
Kwok Hing Lam
Father of the Groom
Kwok Hing is Hugo’s father. He is a businessman and politician with a strong goofy streak. He has an interest in space travel and technology. He and his wife, Mina, are currently raising Hugo’s baby half-brother Lyndon in Hong Kong.
Mina Wong Sin Lam
Step-mother of the Groom
Mina is Hugo’s Step-mother, known to all as auntie Mina. Hugo’s dad, Kwok Hing and Mina got married around a decade ago — We’ve been lucky to have her as part of the family ever since.
Robert Adams McCollough
Groomsman | Brother of the Bride
Robert is Maddox’s younger brother (the older one), who she is very close with. Rob has a job in the tech industry, and lives and works in Raleigh, not so far from where he went for college at Chapel Hill. Rob loves traveling and puzzles of any type—ask him about the NYX Crossword.
William Thomas McCollough
Groomsman | Brother of the Bride
Thomas is Maddox’s youngest-youngest brother, with whom she is equally close. Thomas is currently a student at Chapel Hill, enjoying his life as a proud member of the Sigma Nu frat house where Rob is also an alumni. Thomas is an avid film and music enthusiast and is always ready for a good time.
Megan Chor Kwan Lam
Bridesmaid | Sister of the Groom
Megan is Hugo’s older sister. She is currently residing in Hong Kong where she works as the CEO of a startup company. Megan stayed close to her roots in Hong Kong and lives there with her fiancé Furuzonfar. She can often be found reading a book, and almost always with a cup of tea close by.
Samuel Wai Sum Lam
Man of Honor | Brother of the Groom
Sam is Hugo’s younger brother. Sam and Hugo have always been joined at the hip from a young age. Like Hugo, Sam is also a concept artist working in the video game industry. Sam is a cutting edge fashionista, and an automotive enthusiast. The two brothers share a passion for mechanical design.
Hannah Louise Hall
Maid of Honor | Cousin of the Bride
Only two years apart in age, Maddox and Hannah were raised as sisters. Hannah has been there since *before* day one! Hannah is an incredible mom to daughter Grey and lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her partner Matt.
James Nicholas Young Lennon
Groomsman
Nick is one of Hugo’s closest friends and his sturdiest shoulder to lean on. They met as freshmen at Ringling College of Art and Design at a quidditch match. Nick works in the film industry, and enjoys making music in his spare time.
Emma Rose Adams
Bridesmaid | Cousin of the Bride
Emma is Madison’s cousin and was her creative playmate throughout childhood. One of their go-to activities was building fairy houses outside using whatever they could find. Emma recently graduated from the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech and works in Atlanta as a Consulting Analyst for Accenture. In her limited free time you might find her at an estate sale, a Disney property, cooking, or at a trendy new eatery, especially any doughnut shop, with her fellow foodie boyfriend Josh.
Bryan Bae

Hugo and Bryan first met in Ringling College of Art and Design, when Bryan invited Hugo over to his dorm room for Thanksgiving. He loves playing soccer, building model kits and is a very capable chef. He currently works in the animation industry.
Charlie Parisi
Groomsman
Hugo and Charlie first met in Ringling College of Art and Design. They became friends when Charlie showed Hugo around the campus during the first week of freshman year. They traveled together a lot during their time in the college quidditch team.
Amanda Ferriss Rose
Bridesmaid
Maddox and Amanda met after the Roses moved to Asheville when the girls were only 9 years old. They've been like family ever since. Amanda is a full time veterinarian technician, but also has a pet care mobile business, and a professional music business called A Touch of Rose. She plays the harp and her mother Karen play the violin, mainly for weddings. Amanda will not be standing with the other bridesmaids at the wedding as she'll be seated playing the harp! And yes, that will be her mom Karen playing the violin during the cocktail hour.
Lauren Winslow Umberger

Maddox and Lauren met at age 13 during the 8th grade at Carolina Day School. They remained extremely close throughout high school and practically lived at one another's houses! Lauren is studying to be a veterinarian at NC State University and lives with her girlfriend Erin in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Natalie Lane Philips

Maddox and Natalie met in the 2nd grade at Carolina Day School, both 7 years old, where they instantly became close. She is Maddox's oldest best friend! Natalie is currently in medical school at UNC Chapel Hill studying to be an oncologist.
Philip Lau

Maddox and Phil met during their first month of college at RISD where they became instant best friends and eventually roommates! Phil is an industrial designer from Hong Kong who now lives and works in San Francisco.
Erica Hee Cho Moon

Maddox and Erica met during their first year of college at RISD and quickly became best friends and practically sisters, opting to room together for the remaining three years! Erica is a freelance multimedia producer and lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
Reece Porter

Reece is a close friend of Hugo’s. The pair both share a love for robots, model kits and drinking beer out of glass boots. Rumor has it that he makes the best grilled cheese in Pasadena. Reece is an animator working in the film industry.
Furuzonfar Zehni
Groomsman
Furuzonfar is Hugo’s future brother in law. Furuzonfar is from Tajikistan, and lives in Hong Kong where he met Hugo’s sister Megan. Furuzonfar and Megan are recently engaged.
Patricia (Patsy) Blount
Grandmother of the Bride
Patricia, aka Patsy, aka Nana, is Mark’s mother and Madison’s “glam-ma.” Nana is one of the kindest people you will ever meet…and one of the most stylish! Nana lives in Gainesville, Florida but recently got a beach condo and has already decorated it to a T. She is always the life of the party and excited to try something new.
