I first met Jess when I was invited by our friend Joel to go to his beach bonfire hangout one Saturday night. I had made my mind to stay in that night, but then my cousin Danny told me he would go with me if I went. Once 8 pm hit, we drove off from Moreno Valley to Huntington beach. Once we got close, we stopped at a Food for Less to buy beer (Heineken) before arriving. Soon after we arrive at 9:50 PM to meet up with Joel and his friends at their Huntington Beach location and began catching up. During our conversation, Joel tells me the beach closes at 10:00 pm and to begin chugging our unopened beer. During the remaining 10 minutes, Danny and I met all of Joel's friends by offering everyone beer and to begin finishing the beer with us. During this beer offering exchange, is when I met Jess. Although hardly no one accepted our beer offer, except for Jess, Joel invites everyone to go to an "after hangout" at his friend's place, to which I truly begin knowing Jess. - Hugo

Hugo and I met at a beach bonfire. I had been at the beach all day with my friends and he arrived 10 minutes before the beach closed with his cousin and friends. He offered me a beer and I said yes, then he started making hotdogs in the fire. We talked for a bit and then added each other on social media. He DM'd me a couple of days later and we've talked everyday since.
