Flight Recommendations

We recommend flying into London or Bristol when arriving internationally and then driving/training down to Cornwall. If you would prefer to fly into a closer airport, Newquay airport and Exeter airport are much closer but will require a transfer from most international airports.

Train

Great Western Railway (GWR)

We (especially Caroline) are fond of the GWR trains from London. From London, we recommend catching the GWR train from London Paddington to Liskeard station in Cornwall. We will be happy to pick people up the day before the wedding, just let us know! Top tip, consider getting a railcard if available - they cost around £30 per person for a year and give you 1/3 off train tickets which almost pays for itself on a single return train to/from London. Also, we highly recommend sitting on the left hand side of the train on the way down to Cornwall if done during the daytime - gorgeous views of the sea after Exeter! If you fancy pushing the boat out, consider using the Pullman restaurant carriage on certain trains from London to Cornwall.

10 min drive from Boconnoc. This option is best for individuals who are traveling via train and don't wish to hire a car. Lostwithiel, where the hotel is, is accessible by train from London. Taxis are available to book to travel to and from the hotel but we recommend booking these taxis ahead of time.
