Anthony and Miranda's love story was a classic tale of 21st century love in Philadelphia. Originally connecting on Hinge, the two social butterflies quickly met up on a Sunday afternoon after an Eagles game in December 2018. They met at Buffalo Billiards, a bar Miranda still loathes to this day. Anthony was instantly attracted to Miranda's vivacious attitude, life of the party spirit and surprisingly large corporate card to buy drinks. Miranda was initially attracted to Anthony’s compassionate spirit, his witty sense of humor and of course his die hard love for Philadelphia sport teams. After spending a lovely December Sunday afternoon together, the two knew they had to meet back up. Anthony, the ever procrastinator, took quite a while to organize a second date. Some would argue Miranda did all the work. Their second date consisted of a quick happy hour at Yards Brewery, followed by one of the worst comedy shows they both have ever attended, where Genessee beer was the complimentary drink of choice. Despite that awful show, the two of them still had an incredible time, more evidence of their instant connection. They ended the night meeting some friends in Chinatown for a bit of Karaoke at Yakatori boy. For those of you who know Miranda’s karaoke skills, it’s mind blowing Anthony stuck around after that performance. As time went on their love continued to grow and they both decided they needed to spread their wings west. The two decided they wanted to move to a brand new city before ultimately settling down back East (we will be back Barb and Rita). The two settled in Los Angeles after Anthony relocated for work. After a few months of long distance, the two and their amazing dogs Harper and Bella made the first of many cross country drives to their new home. The love continued to strengthen as the two built their story together first in Santa Monica before ultimately settling in Manhattan Beach, California. They powered through lock down and found new hobbies such as concerts, hiking, trips up the California coast, and most importantly spending time with their furry friends.

Fast forward to November 2022, Anthony arranged quite the surprise as the two attended an SG Lewis concert at The Greek Theater. SG Lewis is one of their favorite artists to go see live whenever the opportunity presents itself. Anthony told Miranda he scored some backstage passes for the show through a friend of a friend. It turns out this was all a ruse as SG Lewis and the band then welcomed Anthony onto the stage to propose to Miranda before playing his new song Lifetime. Once Miranda got over the shock and said yes, the two left the stage to the surprise of both families there waiting to kick off a weekend of celebrations.
