Sam has known Ben his whole life and is his best friend. They’ve grown up together from being teammates of front yard football drills they made up into bickering siblings into resources for each other’s growing life questions. They are the first to congratulate each other for any success or to connect when something is going on. A true friendship and brotherhood. Ben has been around for and supported this marriage from the start. The three started going to the gym and having dinner together and became “The Three Amigos”. They lived together for a period before Ben moved to Eugene. He is there, in Oregon, with his girlfriend - Christie, cat - Kronk, and impressive new job. Ben is Vegan, it’s a big personality trait, but he also loves his family, pickleball, new foods and pets.
Michael “Mikey” Ulan

On top of his skills with a camera, he likes to get active, is the youngest Ulan, and loves football. He’ll be at ASU next year for sports business, but continue developing his photography business and side gig of texting Sam sports updates like Woj. Though Mikey is 9 years younger than Sam, they are very close siblings and friends. They’re often working out together, learning something new (vroom vroom), playing chess, or watching sports. They have been especially close in recent years since Sam has been back in Phoenix and close by. Family is important to them both. Ask Mikey about videography, photography, graphic design, or Dogs.

Lindsey and the bride met on the very first day of college, in math class, and spent many late nights studying together at the University of Arizona. As a fellow fan of Taylor Swift and Twilight, it was an instant friendship. Ask her about her love of tennis or chemistry!
Abigail Hughes

Abigail may be the bride’s sister-in-law, but they’re truly chosen friends. They first met back in 2017 when Abigail started dating the bride’s brother, Owen. They share plenty of work chats (and occasional complaints) thanks to working in the same field — and if you want to strike up a conversation, ask her about her love of Harry Potter.
Jack Longo

Jack met Sam in 2017 at the University of Arizona when they both rushed the same Fraternity. After coming to UA from Michigan Tech, Jack bonded with Sam over their mutual love for the outdoors, exercise, and fast food (mostly in that order). Although he’s from Chicago, Jack moved to Arizona in 2025 to work at Honeywell and return to the desert heat. He lives with his two snakes (Kaido and Black Bean), enjoys his Audi, and loves his mom Karen. He and Sam go on outdoor adventures throughout the state nearly every week. Whether hiking, biking, fishing, yapping, or tying flies through the night, Jack will be there. Ask him about cars, fly fishing, snakes, or anything you think Boy Scout Russel from Up knows.

The bride met Samantha on a cruise celebrating a wedding, and they’ve been friends ever since. They now see each other every week for girls’ night with Lindsey— usually debriefing their weeks at their weekly girls night. With a mutual love of reading they give books recs back and forth to never finish their tbr lists!
Jonny Sarzoza

Jonny met Sam the day he was born, born the exact same day, in the same Hospital (yes, really) in 1999. On that fated day, as newborn babies, they agreed to be friends and a part of each other’s weddings, then went their separate ways. In 2017, 18 years later, they met at the University of Arizona. Both Jonny and Sam joined the Theta Xi fraternity, were both treasurers for the house, lived together on campus and in a house, graduated Eller business school together, and have visited each other many times. Jonny lives in San Diego with his Wife Jysselle and dog Dune, is great couple friends of the marrying duo, and works for his Family-Owned Verde Clean Business. Sam and Cate were both a part of Jonny’s wedding in 2025 and stay close. Ask Jonny about his interests in AZ teams (Cards & Suns especially), finance, golf, and his family.

Cate and Jysselle officially met in college through their significant others and have been close ever since. Cate was honored to stand by her side at her wedding this past November. While their partners bond over sports, you can usually find them chatting about anything and everything else. Jysselle works with kids and has a big love for Halloween and crafting — be sure to ask her about it!
Chase Stephens

Chase met Sam at the University of Arizona and knew him primarily through Theta Xi Fraternity, but has continued to stay in touch and joined up for trips. They basically lived together during COVID and the summer of 2020. Chase is based out of Chicago, enjoys sports, and loves the Bears. More importantly, he recently got engaged to his awesome Fiancé, Kaylenn, and they live with their dog, Harry. He and Sam play Game Pigeon games, share about their growing lives, and visit each other when they can. Ask Chase about Golden Retrievers or any dog, the railroad, and word games.
