Like many a love story that starts these days, it all began with a swipe right on hinge the Saturday after thanksgiving of 2020. As Andrew was studying for pre-med classes and Erin was finishing up her first semester of PA school, they texted, snapchatted and spent hours on the phone together for a month before actually meeting in person for the first time. They finally went on their first date on December 27th 2020 at the local bar Mckeown's in Huntington village. From there, the rest is history.

Every year they go on their "special Christmas date" which usually consists of a show (The Nutcracker, Christmas Spectacular, this year's was Elf the Musical), a stroll around Bryant park, and a fancy dinner at a steakhouse. This year, after the musical, they got ready to walk over to the Bryant park Christmas tree for a nice picture. As they approach the tree to get their yearly picture, Andrew points out a special ornament that is blinking on the tree. The ornament says "Erin will you marry me?" and as Erin sobs overwhelmed with emotion and joy, she nods her head yes, only to further be surprised by both their entire families being there to witness the whole thing!
