Matron of Honor
Ashley is my big sister! Growing up, we were partners in crime and enemies all at the same time. Whether we were pranking/scaring our mother or driving around in her car singing songs at the top of our lungs. She is my first best friend! So when Nick proposed, I knew she needed to stand by me.
Maid of Honor
Morgan and I have been best friends since freshman year of college. I forced my friendship on her in Chemistry class. She is also best friends with the Groom! If it was not for her, we would not have met. I am so lucky to call her not only my best friend, but my sister! So when Nick proposed, I did not even hesitate to ask her to stand by my side.
Bridesmaid
Sara and I met through Nick. She has been an amazing friend to me since we have met. Our shared love of Halloween really bonded us. She is always down to listen to my problems and help me brush stuff off. One of my favorite things is playing DBD or watching a scary movie with her. Michael cheeks definitely loves us! So when nick proposed, I knew she needed to stand with me!
Bridesmaid
Brie and I met when I started at Nemours. I walked into one of her patient rooms and farted my way into her heart. She is always there to give me the best advice and listen no matter how dumb the problem is. She also is down for a good laugh even though she claims she hates me. I could not imagine saying yes without her.
Bridesmaid
Lori and I became friends at my first Respiratory Therapy job. Fun fact: she worked with my sister years before I started. So when I came into my first job, she took me under her wing and helped me grow in my career very fast. On top of being a great mentor, She became one of my close friends. She truly is the life of the party! Anytime you need a good laugh, she knows just what to say. I could not say yes without the life of the party by my side.
Bridesmaid
Brittany is Nicks sister. She and I have bonded over these past couple of years about the medical field. I am so lucky to be gaining another sister. She helps keep me grounded at functions. I knew I needed her to stand by me when I marry her brother.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and I met when she joined the LGH respiratory therapy department. We instantly clicked and were joined at the hip. She has been an incredible friend. Even though she abandoned me at LGH, we managed to stay friends through the years. I am honored to have her as a bridesmaid!
Best Man
Lucas and I met in 8th grade health class, he was reading "The Red Dragon" and I was doing a presentation on my life goal of owning a giant lobster. Yeah we definitely were the cool kids in school. We have been fishing, hunting and much more ever since. I have more laughs and memories with him than anyone else. He often invites me on his vacations, however he's the only one I know that counts a 200 mile hike as a vacation. I love his passion for the outdoors. I eagerly wait to hear about his trips. I can't imagine anyone else being by my side.
Groomsman
Tommy has the misfortune of knowing me longer than anyone else, 28 years at this point. Tom took me under his wing and taught me how to cable and later helped me land my job at CMTHS. I didn't work with Tom long but the time I did gave me stories and jokes that I still laugh at. He might be a hard ass at times, but there are few people as kind, generous and hard working as Tom. He has been a part of my family for as long as I can remember. The day wouldn't seem right without him.
Groomsman
JoeJoe and I were in the same scout troop. When we went camping we would always hang out together. Some how we made fire wood collecting a dangerous sport. He has always had my back in scouts, and in life. He's one tough cookie both mentally and physically, I should know, because he got the name "falls like rock" because of me. Even states away I know he is always there for me, he's the little brother I've always needed.
Groomsman
Whenever we sit down and discuss when we met, Kevin always has to correct me. I apparently keep adding years to our friendship. That fact speaks volumes in my opinion. We met at Musser Scout Camp in 2016, and every summer until 2019 we were doing shenanigans. We have always said that he has an old soul. So many of our friends lovingly call him Gramps. His kindness, politeness, spiffy suspenders, and love for cutting grass really made the name stick. I don't think there was anyone at Musser that I relied on as much as I did Kevin. I know I can count on him through hell or high waters...since we definitely have experience with floods.
Groomsman
I remember looking at Kody at our first dorm meeting and thinking "he looks miserable." When the meeting was over, he cracked a joke or two and I knew I needed to approach him. This was one of the best decisions I've made. I don't know how he put up with me as a roommate for all those years but he did. He was there for me when I lost my beloved crayfish, and the one after that, and even the third one that also ran off. He's definitely one of my more serious friends but his sense of humor is what makes any hangout. Mills and I both love Kody and Sara. It was a hard for Mills and I when she had to move out of E-town. But they are friends for life and always have our back, so it is my honor to have Kody as a Groomsman.
Groomsman
Will just like all my groomsman are like family to me, but the only difference is he's actually family. Looking back I would say Will spent more time hanging out with me than with my sister when they first started dating. We spent hours joking, throwing and catching knives, surprisingly with no injuries. He married my sister and that alone proves this man's patients, thoughtfulness and how good of a heart he has. I can't imagine a family event without him.
Groomsman
Nolan and I have a wonderful friendship that has spanned throughout 15 plus years. His intelligence and charisma made him a natural born leader and able to see the bigger picture in things. We never butted heads but instead I feel like we encouraged each other to grow over the years, especially when we worked at Musser. It has been my pleasure to watch him develop his skills and increase his passion to educate youth through outdoor experiences. I've seen him grow from QUARTER MASTER, SPL, program director, to now running a year round youth camp. It is an honor to have him by my side on this amazing day.
Officiant
Fondots was one of the older scouts in my troop when I joined. I don't know if he knew this at the time but he was one of the guys I always looked up to. He always did his own thing no matter what, and I truly admire that. I feel like he is one of the key people who inspired me to follow my passions and do things that I love no matter how odd they can be. When he offered to be the Officiant both Mills and I were delighted to hear that and wouldn't want anyone else.
