Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that you do not bring them to the wedding or any wedding related events. Enjoy a parenting-free weekend as we celebrate!

What do I wear?
Answer
BEACH GATHERING: Come as you are! REHEARSAL DINNER: Cocktail Attire- Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, dark jackets and slacks. WELCOME DRINKS: Anything goes! The Underfront is a vibey underground cocktail lounge, wear whatever makes you feel good! OUR WEDDING: Cocktail Attire- Wear dresses, jumpsuits, dark jackets and slacks, or your favorite suit! Let your personality shine through! Some guests will be seen in tuxes and long dresses, but black tie is not required!

What hotel should I book?
Answer
The Hampton Inn will be the most affordable, the Courtyard is closest to the venue (2 minute walk instead of 3 minute walk ;) ), and the Hotel Ballast is waterfront! Please view the "Travel" tab to book your hotel and access our room block rate for each option.
Question
What is the best airport to fly into?
Answer
Wilmington International Airport (ILM) is just a 20 minute drive from the hotels and venue. However, ILM is a smaller airport so if there isn't a flight option that suits you, Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) is roughly an hour and 45 minute drive from the venue and will be your next best option. Another option is Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) - roughly a 2 hour and 10 minute drive from the venue.

When should I get into town?
Answer
We encourage everyone to arrive whenever you'd like! If you are making a vacation out of this trip, we will have some casual gatherings planned for Thursday night April 10th and Friday night April 11th, 2025 if you'd like to join! You can find this info under "schedule"!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be indoors.

What kind of weather should I expect?
Answer
April in Wilmington is typically mild with pleasant temperatures around 50 - 70 °F. While the ceremony, reception, and other related events will be indoors, we would recommend packing a rain jacket or umbrella in case you encounter some rain while exploring Wilmington!

Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
With nearly all wedding related activities being located walking distance or a short Uber in downtown Wilmington, a rental car will not be necessary. If you are flying in from an airport that is over an hour away, a rental car may be required for the drive to and from the airport.
