Transportation to the ceremony is available exclusively via the Zion National Park Shuttle. Tickets for the shuttle are available in advance for $2 (https://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/zion-canyon-shuttle-tickets.htm). Tickets have been prepurchased for all wedding guests with printed tickets being given out at the Welcome Event. The shuttle begins at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center with a 45 minute beautiful ride through the canyon to the ceremony location. This ticket allows you access for the entire day within the park. Please be aware, the final shuttle departs the park at 7:30 pm and currently there is a maximum of 33 guests per shuttle to accommodate COVID regulations.
Comfy, casual, and whatever makes you feel your best! There is a flat, riverside walk to the ceremony site, so please bear that in mind when selecting your footwear.
We would love to celebrate with everyone, however we realize our destination venue may limit the amount of people who are able to come. If you and your plus one are up for the adventure, feel free to bring them along! Our wedding will be very casual with no formal portions of the event so feel free to come and go as you please.
YES! We understand that our decision to host a destination wedding in addition to COVID 19 restrictions will greatly impact the ability of many of our friends and family to attend. In order to allow everyone to be apart of our day, regardless of their ability to be in person or virtual, we will be live streaming our event. As the date approaches, we will create a zoom link and send it out for everyone to access.
Since Zion National Park is pretty much a desert, it will likely be fairly hot during the day. However, it does cool down significantly at night so we suggest bringing layers!
We suggest bringing comfortable walking shoes (hiking boots if you please), clothing for hot days and cooler summer nights, sunscreen, reusable water bottles, a small backpack/day pack, a swim suit, and/or whatever you are most comfortable and feel like yourself in!
