Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Everyone is welcome to attend the Wedding Liturgy! We would love to have you. However, due to limited space at the reception, please talk to us if you would like to bring someone who is not already listed on your invitation. We want everyone to have a seat and something to eat!

Out of respect for the solemnity and dignity of the sacrament of matrimony, please refrain from taking pictures or videos during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer who will be capturing the moments at a respectful distance. Please do take pictures at the reception and send them to us!

How do you receive Holy Communion in the Byzantine Catholic rite?

Answer

For those practicing Catholics who are receiving Holy Communion, cross your hands across your chest, open your mouth wide, and stand close to the linen held by the servers. The priest or deacon will serve the Body and Blood under both species (bread and wine) using a communion spoon. You do not need to say amen.
