We lived down the street from each other all through elementary-high school. We crossed paths a couple of times since he rode the same bus as my brother. Zach went to college, but once he moved home and found a short-term job working in the neighborhood, I would purposely find excuses to come in and see the "hot new guy." I was too nervous to say anything, and he didn't recognize me. We love to tell people we struck up conversation and reconnected once we recognized each other but, really, thanks Tinder!
It was 6 weeks after our daughter was born. We took a family trip to Disney World and headed to Epcot at night to see the fireworks show. We went to a nice dinner with my family in town, and Zach kept rushing us because we were going to miss the fireworks. We had a spot right up against the water, and an employee tried kicking us out because it was closed off for a special tour group. My brother convinced her to let us stay an after the first set of fireworks ended, Zach turned me to him, poured out his heart to me while getting down on one knee. I said yes in front of my family and friends who came and hid during the surprise! We can't wait to celebrate and share this next exciting chapter of our lives with all of you. Thank you for your constant love and support, it means the absolute world to us.
