I met JB in 2008 playing in a summer baseball Tournament in Athens GA. We were shocked to see both black brothers playing short stop, so we had to connect after the game. Ever since we’ve been competitive friends that push each other each and every day to be examples for our community. He was a groomsman in my wedding back in 2015, helped me get across the line as I married my beautiful wife Carmen Watkins. I am honored to be Jonathan’s BEST MAN!

I met JB in 2011 playing college baseball at Brewton Parker in Vernon, Ga. My team finished batting practice and I was sitting in the dugout and I heard a sound that I’ve never heard before. I had to know that young black brother and his name was Jonathan Barton. Ever since that day, I’ve never heard someone hit a ball that hard. After the game, we had to connect and years later we met at our good friend’s wedding William and Carmen Watkins. Jonathon is a great brother and great example to the community. One of the funniest guys to be around. He will brighten up any room at any time. So, I am honored to be Jonathan’s groomsman!
